We support the health and nutrition sectors of Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa through technical expertise and capacity building services.
TRF+ aims to improve the access and uptake of reproductive, maternal, newborn and child health (RMNCH) and nutrition services. We are providing technical support to government at provincial and district level to build sustainable capacity and undertake work more efficiently. Support is currently being provided to the provinces in four key areas:
- Increasing capacity of health sector at provincial and district level for delivery of improved RMNCH and nutrition services
- Establishing and operating health sector roadmaps to harness political commitment, improve ownership and drive delivery
- Strengthening government financial management systems and mitigating fiduciary risks
- Monitoring to ensure better results.
A key feature of TRF+ is the use of the roadmap approach to improve targeted areas of the health sector. We also build on the technical assistance provided by the Technical Resource Facility (TRF) from 2009 to 2015.
TRF+ is funded by DFID and managed by Mott MacDonald with support from Acasus.
